In leading TKA in worship this Sunday, Terence Thompson shared the reflections of his heart after watching The Passion of the Christ during the week. The words are a blessing.

Close my eyes to hide this shame.
Paid in blood the purest way.
No words or comprehension.
Yet the question still remains
Until this very day,
The realness of your love.

No thanks. Just nothing.
Recognition went unseen.
No gift can compare
To the promise that you gave.
Nailed solid to that tree,
The old rugged cross.

A silent prayer. No regrets.
To face this road to pay our debt.
The gift of life.

Fall to my knees.
And raise my head.
And sing my heart's song.
Your light of grace to guide me through,
Seeking your heart to know your truth.

The tears I cried, a prayer to you.
Your love embrace to help me through.
To walk this road and not alone,
To guide me all the days of my life, I trust.

Unfailing love, your love so true.
